A Story of Inspiration:

What is a Dream Stealer? Dream stealers are the people who make you believe that you’ll never reach your dreams and do what they can to get in your way and cause you to stop any activity that brings you closer to your dreams. They tell you to play it safe: to get a nice safe job, when it’s the “right” time to to marry- look for the most responsible person you meet, and go vacation to the local Lake instead of New Zealand or the Caribbean.

Does this sound like anyone you know?

Of course it does. Dream Stealers are all around you!

Here is how to recognize them:

Watch out for the “Concerned Dream Stealers”-These are the people who love you so much that they can’t stand to see you fail or get your hopes up. They want you to have a nice, safe, and secure life. They truly have your best wishes at heart but don’t understand that for you to be happy you have to reach for your dreams.

“Jealous Dream Stealers” are also hard to recognize. -These are the people who have NOT reached their dreams. They are not successful them selves and even if they are not aware of the emotion, they don’t want anyone else to reach their Dreams either.

Sometimes dream stealers come in the form of people who want to collaborate. They will ‘talk the talk’, but they can’t ‘walk the walk’. These are the people that want to Teach You How to reach your dreams, even though they’ve never reached their own dreams. The best strategy is to listen politely, smile, and thank them for their interest. Then go ahead and live your dreams and reach out to people that ARE reaching their dreams.

So, what can you do about Dream Stealers?

RUN! These people fear what they don’t understand, so when you are in the process of trying to following your dreams they will try to pull you down. Do not give these people any of your energy. Say, thanks and forget about the meeting.

Most dreams get stolen because we share our dreams with the wrong people. Be on the look out for happy, motivated people to share your business success. Share your dreams with them. They will help you grow and reach your dreams.

Share your Successes only with Dream Stealers. Nothing else. Not your opportunity, products, nothing! When you share your successes with the dream stealers, it takes away their power.

Building your own Direct  Business requires focus and commitment. You can’t ‘try it for a while’ and then give up. Never ever give up. Always believe in yourself.
