6 Tips to Help You Stay in Positive Motion
1. Play to Win! – Do it all together!  Stay connected and talk often with the people on your direct Sales team.  That means your Upline, Downline and even people on the Sidelines. Also plug in to the Company calls and podcasts.  Playing with others will move you forward.
2. Set Goals and really try to reach them.  Keep track of your efforts.  Record ever step that you take.
3. No negative conversations.  Shh. None!
4. Step UP! – Be accountable!  Find somebody that will check in on you and make sure that you are taking action.
5. Stay in Positive Motion!  Once you have achieved success, don’t stop.  Keep going and do it again
6. Don’t let the tough parts of the business slow you down.  If something falls apart.  Pick up the pieces and try something else.
dream bigNumber six is where most people get stuck.  It’s easy to listen to the nay sayer when something bad happens.  Dream stealers are pretty powerful – if your willing to listen.  Dream Stealers are people that make you think that your dreams can not come true.  They make you question yourself and what you are doing.  You feel depleted after being around them for even a short amount of time.

Dream Believers are people that believe in you so much that they have dreams for you even before you have them for yourself. These people excite you and you learn new things just being around them a short amount of time.

So, what are the odds that any one of us will make our Dreams a Reality? Working from home sounds easy, but the reality is hours of time, hard work, persistence through adversity, and effort. It’s a lot of ups and downs. What makes people want to keep on with building their business? It could be the $ but for most of us it’s the reward and satisfaction of seeing people like ourselves, pull themselves up and achieve their dreams too! Living your dream means that you get to help others live their dreams!

Be a Dream Believer and watch your dreams come true!  May all Your Dreams come true!!!

How to Make a Million Dollars in Direct Sales

Posted on May 7, 2015. Filed under: How To Grow Your Direct Sales Team, How to Make It, Inspiration, Network Marketing and Direct Sales News, Network Marketing Made Easy | Tags: , , , , , , , , , |

Maybe you don’t like to talk politics in public.  Truth be told, maybe you don’t even like to discuss politics at home but Unemployment is worth talking about. It is a heart breaker. “According to Bloomberg, Wall Street is expecting the jobs report to show the economy added 230,000 jobs in April 2015 while the unemployment rate is expected to fall to 5.4% from 5.5%.”( http://www.businessinsider.com/unemployment-rate-forecast-may-6-2015-5#ixzz3ZTCZuBku )

That is good news but still, that means that the number of people considered unemployed in the US in March 2015 was a whopping 8,575,000!

That’s a lot of people with no income, no freedom and – NO HOPE!

AND…

that doesn’t include more than 3 million people who receive extended benefits.

That’s a lot of people!  Too many people!

Yes, all those people are getting benefits, but is that really enough to make your dreams come true?  Chances are, none of these millions of people make their mortgage with ease, travel where their desire takes them or sits back and thinks, “Wow!  I’ve finally made it.” NONE!

Here’s the math…

UNEMPLOYED + UNEMPLOYMENT = UNHAPPY

UNEMPLOYED BY SOMEONE ELSE + SELF EMPLOYED = HAPPY

What does it all add up to?

My name is Gabby Gmyrek.  I own FindSalesRep.com.  I have been with in Direct Sales for more than 10 years and I truly love this industry.   I Love the atmosphere, the personal relationships and the excellent products.  When I got started, I admit, I was scared. After all, I was now in “business” for myself, right? Well, after many trials and errors I want to share with you some of the best parts of being self employed.  I told myself…

“I’m not selling anything.”

It was a lie! Don’t be fooled… In the end you are selling. If you don’t sell, you don’t make money. However, selling is a good skill that maybe you’ve already got and you can feel really good about what I sell, because you are ‘a product of the product’ and you know it works.  You know what you’ve got can make people HAPPY.  You also know that SELLING is not a four letter word and that those that “Sell” things are the ones that get the biggest pay checks.  No shame in that!

I also told myself…

“I’m not Recruiting.”

Yes, you are!  I was one of the TOP RECRUITERS IN THE WORLD for one of the most successful Network Marketing companies in the world!  Now I help others do the same. Don’t go it alone.  You won’t make it.  Tap into everything your company offers and seek outside resources to make yourself a marketing maniac.  Try anything and everything to help your business GROW.  Start at www.FindSalesRep.com – Get Listed!

FACT: You NEED to get Your Business Found by people that want what you’ve got!

YOU have the blessing, an incredible gift to offer your friends, acquaintances and anyone else who wants to get out the unemployment line and listen.  SHARE IT anywhere any everywhere.

The gift is income without limit, financial reward for effort without discrimination and the freedom to run a business anyway they want, when ever they want, where ever they want.

Don’t get me wrong.  Direct Sales is NOT easy.  As anyone who is successful in this industry knows, you do have to hustle if you want to build a large organization, and that part is up to you and not someone else.  Just like with a regular 9 to 5, it’s your job to make connections, to follow-up with people and it takes effort.  It’s the hardest part… taking your business seriously and doing what ever it takes to grow that business.

Here is the biggest HINT anyone in Direct Sales is ever going to give you:

Real people, really are lining up to get “SALES” jobs.

Why not put them to work in your organization?

How?  Act like you are hiring and treat your business, like a REAL Business –  help others build their own franchise.  Let them know that they are a part of something bigger  – and that they don’t have to go it alone either.

FACT:  most MLM’s say you’re running your own business, you’re really in a partnership with a lager company that belongs to someone else.  They provide the products, resources, marketing tools, customer support and you provide the marketing strategy and the drive it takes to pound the pavement. You’re helping to build their brand and in return they are giving you a cut of the profits.  It’s sweet deal… if you take advantage of all to tools that they are offering.

“So…Who’s making money?”

Can you REALLY get rich in this industry? Short answer: YES! People have become millionaires in network marketing, however, it is not easy and most people never make it.  Direct Sales has made literally thousands, even 10’s of thousands of Independent Distributors – Millionaires! REALLY!  There are real people that make that that kind of money.  This is a real opportunity,

BUT.. it is not a matter of luck it’s a matter of commitment and you will have to advertise.  Customers are NOT going to fall in to your organiZation by accident.  Figure out how to help them find you.  POST EVERYWHERE!

ADVICE… If you work your business like a job – 9 to 5, 40+ hours per week,

and you take real action – you can make a MILLION dollars.  You can Do it!

The problem with just doing it is that most people are afraid or don’t know how.  Even worse, many  think that  “SELF EMPLOYED” means “Hobby” and hobbies cost $ they don’t make Money.   It does not.  So, go figure out if you want to spend money or make it.  If you want to make money, make a business plan, advertise, talk to as many people as you can, in as many ways as you cane, work 40+ hours a week and surround yourself with people that also want to make a million dollars.

More Advice…  If you are unemployed anyway, without HOPE – Why not take action and become a self employed Network Marketer or Direct Seller and  get back to making your DREAMS come true.  Go make a MILION DOLLARS!

If you are unemployed and you need to learn more please visit www.FindSalesRep.com  Find a company that is right for you and join one the serious reps on our site.  They will help you.  They want you to succeed!

Go Get Your MILLION!

Spring Cleaning For Your Buisness

spring cleaning businessIf you’re ready to get motivated, improve your home business success, and boost your family income, it’s time to spring clean your business!

One hard push over a weekend does not make a sustainable business, but a good bout of spring cleaning can help you kick off a healthy business that will last for months and even years to come!

Step 1: Get Your Mind Right

What’s your overall goal? And…  more importantly, WHY are you going to work at this every day to meet your goal? Just striving for  a certain number in your bank account won’t inspire you to greatness, but if reaching that number means you can achieve a lifelong goal,  gain more freedom or have richer family life, you’re a lot more likely to keep doing the work that it will take to get there. Once you’ve figured out your “why,” make sure you keep it front of mind. A vision board is a great way to positively inspire yourself to achieve your personal breakthrough. It can be a dry erase board, a cork board, or a piece of poster board—just make sure it’s visible and tangible. Put inspiring quotes, photos, and any other images that will keep you focused on taking positive action.

Step 2: Know What You Are Putting In and Getting Out

A healthy business is all about risk AND reward, but financial gurus agree that what you put in to your business accounts for about 75 to 80 percent of your success. That means it’s time to clean out the those efforts that are not producing results and clean up your shopping list. Stopping waisting your time and your money.  What you spend to run your business can not exceed what you earning for very long.  That’s why choosing  the right way’s to promote your business is crucial.  Remember, what you do to promote your business fuels your success!

little to no promotion = little to no success

You wouldn’t fuel an airplane with diesel fuel from a rusty, old gas can and expect it to do its job, right? Give your business the kind of respect and provide it with the fuel it needs to perform at its peak. Make sure you’re getting exposure either face to face at events, fairs and or expos or on social media and don’t forget a healthy amount of advertising. Cut out empty ventures that consistently waste your time and energy. If it has not been profitable or has not grown your business, cut it out and look for other avenues that will lead you to your goals more efficiently.  The more good exposer or fuel you give your business, the more it will crave! Think snow ball effect. findsalesrep.com logo 2015And what about YOU?  You much be fully committed to achieve full attainment of your goals.  You’ve got to be all in.  If you’re not ready to do a week’s or even month’s worth of business prep every Monday that includes, emails, phone calls, meetings and other forms self promotion and then following it through out the week, you won’t succeed on your own.  That doesn’t mean it can’t be done.  Find a company that offers a complete, quality lead system that’s convenient to use and is affordable. After all, it won’t do you any good wishing and hoping for success if you don’t actually follow through and get in front of an audience.  FindSalesRep.com offers many advertising options from Basic to NationWide Listings.  We recommend checking out the NationWide pricing in our Treasure Chest at www.FindSalesRep.com/Treasure.  That’s where you will find our best offers and you will be able to compare different levels of exposure.  The NationWide listing is a great way to start maximizing your exposure while you build relationships with new customers from all a cross the country.  Listings are available in both the USA and CANADA.

Bonus points if you can get everyone on your team to get on board with what you are doing!

You’ll have moral support and increased chances for accountability!

Step 3: Get Moving

Whether you join the facebook revolution, attend all the wedding expos this spring, or just get out of your chair  to walk around the block and knock on a few businesses doors, making new connections will help you reach your goals. And, as a bonus, being around like minded, excited people it’s a mood-enhancer. The link between human connection and helping others and improved mood is pretty strong.

EXAMPLE: Usually when you smile at someone they smile back.

Start a conversation and your whole day will change, typically for the better.

And while different kinds of interactions have different benefits, the best business practice is the one you actually do! They call it practice because it is intended to be done over and over again over time.  Not just in short spurts, erratically, when you are in the mood. So, find ways of connecting with people that are in need or are looking for what you’ve got.  Look for things that fits into your schedule, fulfill you, and that you don’t keep making excuses to cancel.  Find ways of producing prospect that you will actually do and DO them.

Step 4: Articulate and SHARE Your Goals

One of the best ways to reach your goals is to make them SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely). “make more money” or “grow your business” are goals that are too vague. How do you know if you’ve succeeded? Once you’ve identified the specific business goals that you want to achieve, make sure they’re SMART.  Then… it’s time to share them. Though it may be tempting to keep your journey to yourself until you’ve completed it, successful entrepreneurs say you should share early and often.  You’re only keeping them a secret if they are not sincere.

“Research performed by Dr. Gail Matthews, a clinical psychologist,

found that participants who wrote down their goals

achieved significantly more than those who only thought about their goals.

And, those who wrote down action commitments (in addition to their goals)

were even more likely to reach their goals.”

So what are you waiting for? Find a friend, team mate or family member to be your business accountability partner!  Tell them what you want to achieve, when you want to have succeed and how you are planning to do it.  Who knows, they probably will be inspired to join you.

Targeting the Ideal Customer

Posted on September 30, 2014. How do you target the ideal customer?

To successfully introduce new customers to you company and the products you offer,  it’s essential to focus exclusively on the prospects you believe are most likely to purchase from you.

WHO are they?  We asked a few of our favorite independent direct sales reps:

-Your ideal customer may be prospects who are currently buying something similar and will appreciate the additional features your new product or service provides.

-Your best prospects have a perceived need for what you offer, can afford to buy it and have demonstrated a willingness to do so–probably by purchasing from your competition. Bear in mind, it’s always easier to fill a need than to create one.

Share the benefits and features that your prospective customers will value most.  The bottom line is that working with you and your company should be unique and meet the needs and desires of your best prospects.  Show then how you can make that happen.

How?

Will you market online, via catalog or by archery target? Generally,  a multi-channel marketing tactic will help you achieve the greatest success.

Why?

Customers who can shop when and however they like tend to spend more and shop more often. Suppose your strategy is to market a weight loss product to people who can’t afford gym memberships or high-priced home equipment. You might choose traditional face to face/home party direct marketing plus a website as your primary channels, and then online ads and e-mail solicitations that link to your website.  These are all great ideas, but no one action alone is going to give you the results that you are looking for.  Aim to combined all of them.

When?

For startup entrepreneurs, the need to constantly tinker with the business never ends. “You have always got to be thinking about how you can tweak whatever you have to make it even better.”

If you feel like you have too much going on, stop and just focus on just one at a time. Try spending time on one project per day and see how much you accomplish.

Trending Topics in Direct Sales

Direct selling is certainly a classic sales method and given the reach of the Internet in the business world, the approach to direct selling has a larger reach than ever before.

TOPIC: The debate is on!!! Coffee shop or online blog? Door to door or email contact list? Typical meeting or online chat? How’s a poor marketer to decide? It used to be that “Face Time” with prospects through all stages of a sales cycle was the only way. It was was tried and true, but with all the gadgets used today, “Shopper” no longer seem to value the antiquated ritual.  It seems that “Face Time” may no longer be necessary at all.

More often than not, sales go through – online without any direct contact at all. Independent Sales reps can now use the Web to conduct product demonstrations, hold multi-person sales trending topics thurspresentations, all kinds of things that help them connect with their audience.

Here’s just an example:
For many top recruiters, email has replaced the phone as a primary method of reaching out to contact new prospective customers for the first time. The traditionalist would say this selling tactic is bad even though it brings down the cost of doing business and takes less time, but sales don’t lie. TODAY’S TOP SELLERS IN EVERY DIRECT SALES COMPANY are the ones with a strong online presence and a long email contact list.

PROBLEM: There is one pit fall that online marketers face -ISOLATION- working in isolation tends to make reps less productive than if they work in groups, even small ones, where they can feed off each others momentum.

SOLUTION: Form a team that can share sales strategies. The best ones are social clubs for entrepreneurs and sales professionals that to help them learn how to get good at sales and to have fun doing it. There should be no sales “gurus” or “experts” in these groups. Let every leader show off and share their smart. Ambitious people will have a lot to share and will help the whole group work hard to reach their goals. Having FUN is what will keep the motivation engine revving.

 POLL:

What do YOU spend more time doing?

FACE TIME OR ONLINE MARKETING

Which gives you the most business growth?

How Can You Start Growing Your Direct Sales Business Today

Help someone else!

It will take a little soul searching and a little self improvement.  But, reaching out and helping someone else is the single most inportant thing you can do TODAY to grow your business.

Recently, I listened to Steve Jobs autobiographer talk about what kind of leader Steve Jobs had been.  He said that Steve was a brutally honest leader.  He encouraged Positive Attitudes, never let A players slack and never waisted too much time on B Players. He Pushed Day Dreamers, to Take Chances and to turn Dreams in to getting stuff done!   Here is what Steven Tobak wrote about Successful Business Entrepreneurs:

“You won’t achieve the American Dream by dreaming”

(Source: MoneyWatch)  COMMENTARY. We live in volatile times where viewpoints are highly polarized. The way people see business in America is no exception. Lately, it seems as if management commentary is either feel-good fluff or anti-business rhetoric.

Of course, neither extreme relates very well to the realities of the business world, which makes it all the more frustrating for those of you seeking to advance your career through meaningful insight.

Speaking of which, one of the key insights you’ll learn sooner or later is not to trust conventional wisdom. If you don’t take chances and challenge the status quo, you won’t get anywhere. So you should probably avoid or at least challenge extreme thinking. In other words, don’t drink the Kool-Aid from either side.

Perhaps the most damaging piece of popular career and leadership fluff is that you should reach for the stars, aspire to the corner office, and don’t stop until you achieve your dreams. Now, I know what you’re thinking: Isn’t that the American Dream, start from nothing and become a big-time success?

Absolutely, but you won’t achieve the American Dream by dreaming. You’ll achieve it by doing. achieve dreams

You see, successful executives and business leaders aren’t typically driven by high aspirations. They didn’t get to where they are by walking around with their heads in the clouds. They got there by putting one foot in front of the other and getting stuff done.

And they did it for one or more of these four reasons: because it was their job and they had a strong work ethic, out of necessity to put food on the table, to bring a product to market they thought customers would want, or they had a passion for what they were doing and thought it was cool.

Just to be clear, I’m not arguing against Robert Browning’s insightful statement that, “A man’s reach should exceed his grasp.” I’m not saying you shouldn’t work your tail off, seek your passion in life, have a vision of something unique, or want to do great things. What I am saying is that you don’t accomplish those things by spending your time thinking about how to get to the top of the corporate ladder.

So how do you achieve the American Dream?

You get there by delivering the goods, getting the job done, and satisfying the needs of your customer, whoever that is. If you get really good at doing those things, that’s how you achieve the American Dream. That’s how success really works. Here are some notable examples of what I’m talking about:

When Mark Zuckerberg was developing Facebook, he was building something he thought would be cool. He wasn’t thinking about running a big company and becoming a billionaire.

Richard Branson didn’t aspire to build a global conglomerate of over 200 companies when he opened a record shop and mail order retailer named Virgin.

Bill Gates did not have stars in his eyes when he licensed an operating system to IBM for the first personal computer. He was just trying to satisfy a big new customer.

Fred Smith was not driven by the idea that FedEx would someday become an everyday verb for express mail. He was driven by the idea of a fully integrated air-to-ground shipping business that could operate efficiently using hubs.

When Ed Whitacre started out as a facility engineer with Southwestern Bell in 1963 and slowly worked his way up the corporate ladder over the coming decades, he wasn’t thinking about someday running the company and, after a series of mergers, creating the nation’s largest telecom company and relaunching AT&T.

In 1927, not only were Dick and Mac McDonald not trying to create the world’s first and ultimately its biggest fast food empire, McDonald’s, it took 21 years for them to realize they should be focusing on burgers instead of hot dogs.

Kraft Foods started with James L. Kraft selling cheese door-to-door. Toyota founder Sakichi Toyoda made looms. Sony started out as a radio repair shop in Tokyo. Nokia was a paper mill in Finland.

Click Here to Read More on: Unusual origins of 15 innovative companies

I can go on and on, but the point is this. The secret to success isn’t aspiring to great things. It’s doing great things. And far more often than not, that starts with doing not-so-great things. Oftentimes, you don’t even know what you’re doing is great until way after the fact.

You won’t get to the top by thinking about how you’re going to be a rich executive someday, but by thinking about how people may actually have use for a personal computer, building them in a garage, and selling them, the way Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak did. Or by just doing your job better than anyone else and slowly but steadily climbing the corporate ladder from the bottom to the top, the way Whitacre did.

Remember, you won’t achieve the American Dream by dreaming. You’ll achieve it by doing. Your motives won’t be grandiose. They’ll be simple and straightforward, like loving what you do, solving a customer problem, or putting food on the table. That’s what motivates successful people.

  •   Findsalesrep Get Found If you are in direct sales, you need to have a fb page that associates you with your company. For example: Karen White – Independent Scentsy Consultant This pg should have your companies name in the title – if your company allows it. On this page you should post any company news, new products, savings events, bonus opportunities and and specials that you may be personally offering. Daily pictures are essential on this pg.
  •  Want to get noticed by google? Having a fb pg with your company name and your location can help you ‘show up’. Example: Karen White – Independent Scensty Rep – New Mexico
  • People love to save too. Having a fb page that let’s people know they will get a great deal can attract new customers too. Example: Karen’s Coupons – Independent Scentsy Consultant
  •  Some people are looking for a team to join. These are people that know the business and know how important support can be. Example: Independent Scensy Consultants Unite – Team United We Scent
  •  Amy Engeldinger Thanks for the tip!
  •  Findsalesrep Get Found Tiffany Hathorn and Amy Engeldnger, can you please tell us what you learned. It would be awesome if you could just pick you 3 top ides that you now use. Thanks!
  •  Amy Engeldinger Don’t go liking other FB pages of your team members or company. Why? A customer can be confused to what page is yours and may order from the wrong person.
  •  Tiffany Hathorn Well, one thing I have learned is to write down a list of your target prospect’s qualities. What do they like? Where do they hang out? What do they do? By making a list of the perfect prospect you don’t waste so much time with those people who are not going to be interested. You weed them right out. Also, if you are building your team, you want to look for people like YOU. People with the same entrepreneurial spirit, same goals, same mindset. SO think about your favorite fan pages to follow. The gurus you follow. The pages you subscribe to for their motivational posts and business advice. The ones about building an income online or at home. Those are where you will find people like you. Finally, stop just posting your ads everywhere. No one cares! Give them content. Message people privately and get to know them. 10 targeted leads that you connect with will get you much further than 100 leads that just see your ads. Oh, and when it comes to like ladders and all these “business advertising’ groups — don’t depend on those to build your biz. Use them to network with other entrepreneurs. That’s a mix of what I have learned from experience and through some webinars. There is sooooo much more, but I don’t want to write a book here. Lol
  •  Findsalesrep Get Found Here is another: What ever you say or post on fb should be said authentically. FB is a social place, not a comercial. Be human. Also, be a leader and others will follow. Look for opportunities to share your ideas and support others. That kind of good positive karma will come back to you. People are people and all of us like to be around positive environments. Kind words stay with us and when we want something, we remember who has it, by how they touched our lives. In summery, BE NICE!
  •   Tiffany Hathorn Oh, and definitely follow the 90-10 rule on your fan pages — 90% content, 10% advertising/promoting. No one wants to be sold to all the time.
  •  Findsalesrep Get Found More about being a leader: It’s important to have a fb page where you are the team leader. This can be your “challenge” pg, your “Coaching” pg or your inspiration pg. On this page look for ways to involve your friends and followers. Get them involved, taking and loving what you have to offer. Make it exciting, fun and “sharable”.
  •  Tiffany Hathorn Know your company’s rules about what you can and can’t do online.
  •  Findsalesrep Get Found More about attitude: Keeping everything positive does not mean be fake. It’s a mind set that if you are planning to be successful, you must adopt. Decide who you want to be Dream, Believe, Become. OR Dread, Complain, Conspire. One path will raise up you and your fb fans. The other, well, I don’t really know what happens if you choose the other. So, just don’t do that.
  •  Findsalesrep Get Found More about company rules: Yes, know your rules. Getting that call from “compliance’ is scare and yes I say that from experience. BUT…. most companies really just want to work with you. They don’t want to lose you. They usually will work with you if you say, “sorry, I did not know and won’t do it again”. Most use the 3 strikes and you are out rule. So, if you are only on strike one, you are probably ok.
  •  Findsalesrep Get Found Thanks for your help Tiffany Hathorn. Knew I could count on you!  Who else has a tip for this growing DS Community?
