Maybe you don’t like to talk politics in public.  Truth be told, maybe you don’t even like to discuss politics at home but Unemployment is worth talking about. It is a heart breaker. “According to Bloomberg, Wall Street is expecting the jobs report to show the economy added 230,000 jobs in April 2015 while the unemployment rate is expected to fall to 5.4% from 5.5%.”( http://www.businessinsider.com/unemployment-rate-forecast-may-6-2015-5#ixzz3ZTCZuBku )

That is good news but still, that means that the number of people considered unemployed in the US in March 2015 was a whopping 8,575,000!

That’s a lot of people with no income, no freedom and – NO HOPE!

AND…

that doesn’t include more than 3 million people who receive extended benefits.

That’s a lot of people!  Too many people!

Yes, all those people are getting benefits, but is that really enough to make your dreams come true?  Chances are, none of these millions of people make their mortgage with ease, travel where their desire takes them or sits back and thinks, “Wow!  I’ve finally made it.” NONE!

Here’s the math…

UNEMPLOYED + UNEMPLOYMENT = UNHAPPY

UNEMPLOYED BY SOMEONE ELSE + SELF EMPLOYED = HAPPY

What does it all add up to?

My name is Gabby Gmyrek.  I own FindSalesRep.com.  I have been with in Direct Sales for more than 10 years and I truly love this industry.   I Love the atmosphere, the personal relationships and the excellent products.  When I got started, I admit, I was scared. After all, I was now in “business” for myself, right? Well, after many trials and errors I want to share with you some of the best parts of being self employed.  I told myself…

“I’m not selling anything.”

It was a lie! Don’t be fooled… In the end you are selling. If you don’t sell, you don’t make money. However, selling is a good skill that maybe you’ve already got and you can feel really good about what I sell, because you are ‘a product of the product’ and you know it works.  You know what you’ve got can make people HAPPY.  You also know that SELLING is not a four letter word and that those that “Sell” things are the ones that get the biggest pay checks.  No shame in that!

I also told myself…

“I’m not Recruiting.”

Yes, you are!  I was one of the TOP RECRUITERS IN THE WORLD for one of the most successful Network Marketing companies in the world!  Now I help others do the same. Don’t go it alone.  You won’t make it.  Tap into everything your company offers and seek outside resources to make yourself a marketing maniac.  Try anything and everything to help your business GROW.  Start at www.FindSalesRep.com – Get Listed!

FACT: You NEED to get Your Business Found by people that want what you’ve got!

YOU have the blessing, an incredible gift to offer your friends, acquaintances and anyone else who wants to get out the unemployment line and listen.  SHARE IT anywhere any everywhere.

The gift is income without limit, financial reward for effort without discrimination and the freedom to run a business anyway they want, when ever they want, where ever they want.

Don’t get me wrong.  Direct Sales is NOT easy.  As anyone who is successful in this industry knows, you do have to hustle if you want to build a large organization, and that part is up to you and not someone else.  Just like with a regular 9 to 5, it’s your job to make connections, to follow-up with people and it takes effort.  It’s the hardest part… taking your business seriously and doing what ever it takes to grow that business.

Here is the biggest HINT anyone in Direct Sales is ever going to give you:

Real people, really are lining up to get “SALES” jobs.

Why not put them to work in your organization?

How?  Act like you are hiring and treat your business, like a REAL Business –  help others build their own franchise.  Let them know that they are a part of something bigger  – and that they don’t have to go it alone either.

FACT:  most MLM’s say you’re running your own business, you’re really in a partnership with a lager company that belongs to someone else.  They provide the products, resources, marketing tools, customer support and you provide the marketing strategy and the drive it takes to pound the pavement. You’re helping to build their brand and in return they are giving you a cut of the profits.  It’s sweet deal… if you take advantage of all to tools that they are offering.

“So…Who’s making money?”

Can you REALLY get rich in this industry? Short answer: YES! People have become millionaires in network marketing, however, it is not easy and most people never make it.  Direct Sales has made literally thousands, even 10’s of thousands of Independent Distributors – Millionaires! REALLY!  There are real people that make that that kind of money.  This is a real opportunity,

BUT.. it is not a matter of luck it’s a matter of commitment and you will have to advertise.  Customers are NOT going to fall in to your organiZation by accident.  Figure out how to help them find you.  POST EVERYWHERE!

ADVICE… If you work your business like a job – 9 to 5, 40+ hours per week,

and you take real action – you can make a MILLION dollars.  You can Do it!

The problem with just doing it is that most people are afraid or don’t know how.  Even worse, many  think that  “SELF EMPLOYED” means “Hobby” and hobbies cost $ they don’t make Money.   It does not.  So, go figure out if you want to spend money or make it.  If you want to make money, make a business plan, advertise, talk to as many people as you can, in as many ways as you cane, work 40+ hours a week and surround yourself with people that also want to make a million dollars.

More Advice…  If you are unemployed anyway, without HOPE – Why not take action and become a self employed Network Marketer or Direct Seller and  get back to making your DREAMS come true.  Go make a MILION DOLLARS!

If you are unemployed and you need to learn more please visit www.FindSalesRep.com  Find a company that is right for you and join one the serious reps on our site.  They will help you.  They want you to succeed!

Go Get Your MILLION!

Spring Cleaning For Your Buisness

spring cleaning businessIf you’re ready to get motivated, improve your home business success, and boost your family income, it’s time to spring clean your business!

One hard push over a weekend does not make a sustainable business, but a good bout of spring cleaning can help you kick off a healthy business that will last for months and even years to come!

Step 1: Get Your Mind Right

What’s your overall goal? And…  more importantly, WHY are you going to work at this every day to meet your goal? Just striving for  a certain number in your bank account won’t inspire you to greatness, but if reaching that number means you can achieve a lifelong goal,  gain more freedom or have richer family life, you’re a lot more likely to keep doing the work that it will take to get there. Once you’ve figured out your “why,” make sure you keep it front of mind. A vision board is a great way to positively inspire yourself to achieve your personal breakthrough. It can be a dry erase board, a cork board, or a piece of poster board—just make sure it’s visible and tangible. Put inspiring quotes, photos, and any other images that will keep you focused on taking positive action.

Step 2: Know What You Are Putting In and Getting Out

A healthy business is all about risk AND reward, but financial gurus agree that what you put in to your business accounts for about 75 to 80 percent of your success. That means it’s time to clean out the those efforts that are not producing results and clean up your shopping list. Stopping waisting your time and your money.  What you spend to run your business can not exceed what you earning for very long.  That’s why choosing  the right way’s to promote your business is crucial.  Remember, what you do to promote your business fuels your success!

little to no promotion = little to no success

You wouldn’t fuel an airplane with diesel fuel from a rusty, old gas can and expect it to do its job, right? Give your business the kind of respect and provide it with the fuel it needs to perform at its peak. Make sure you’re getting exposure either face to face at events, fairs and or expos or on social media and don’t forget a healthy amount of advertising. Cut out empty ventures that consistently waste your time and energy. If it has not been profitable or has not grown your business, cut it out and look for other avenues that will lead you to your goals more efficiently.  The more good exposer or fuel you give your business, the more it will crave! Think snow ball effect. findsalesrep.com logo 2015And what about YOU?  You much be fully committed to achieve full attainment of your goals.  You’ve got to be all in.  If you’re not ready to do a week’s or even month’s worth of business prep every Monday that includes, emails, phone calls, meetings and other forms self promotion and then following it through out the week, you won’t succeed on your own.  That doesn’t mean it can’t be done.  Find a company that offers a complete, quality lead system that’s convenient to use and is affordable. After all, it won’t do you any good wishing and hoping for success if you don’t actually follow through and get in front of an audience.  FindSalesRep.com offers many advertising options from Basic to NationWide Listings.  We recommend checking out the NationWide pricing in our Treasure Chest at www.FindSalesRep.com/Treasure.  That’s where you will find our best offers and you will be able to compare different levels of exposure.  The NationWide listing is a great way to start maximizing your exposure while you build relationships with new customers from all a cross the country.  Listings are available in both the USA and CANADA.

Bonus points if you can get everyone on your team to get on board with what you are doing!

You’ll have moral support and increased chances for accountability!

Step 3: Get Moving

Whether you join the facebook revolution, attend all the wedding expos this spring, or just get out of your chair  to walk around the block and knock on a few businesses doors, making new connections will help you reach your goals. And, as a bonus, being around like minded, excited people it’s a mood-enhancer. The link between human connection and helping others and improved mood is pretty strong.

EXAMPLE: Usually when you smile at someone they smile back.

Start a conversation and your whole day will change, typically for the better.

And while different kinds of interactions have different benefits, the best business practice is the one you actually do! They call it practice because it is intended to be done over and over again over time.  Not just in short spurts, erratically, when you are in the mood. So, find ways of connecting with people that are in need or are looking for what you’ve got.  Look for things that fits into your schedule, fulfill you, and that you don’t keep making excuses to cancel.  Find ways of producing prospect that you will actually do and DO them.

Step 4: Articulate and SHARE Your Goals

One of the best ways to reach your goals is to make them SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely). “make more money” or “grow your business” are goals that are too vague. How do you know if you’ve succeeded? Once you’ve identified the specific business goals that you want to achieve, make sure they’re SMART.  Then… it’s time to share them. Though it may be tempting to keep your journey to yourself until you’ve completed it, successful entrepreneurs say you should share early and often.  You’re only keeping them a secret if they are not sincere.

“Research performed by Dr. Gail Matthews, a clinical psychologist,

found that participants who wrote down their goals

achieved significantly more than those who only thought about their goals.

And, those who wrote down action commitments (in addition to their goals)

were even more likely to reach their goals.”

So what are you waiting for? Find a friend, team mate or family member to be your business accountability partner!  Tell them what you want to achieve, when you want to have succeed and how you are planning to do it.  Who knows, they probably will be inspired to join you.

Targeting the Ideal Customer

Posted on September 30, 2014. How do you target the ideal customer?

To successfully introduce new customers to you company and the products you offer,  it’s essential to focus exclusively on the prospects you believe are most likely to purchase from you.

WHO are they?  We asked a few of our favorite independent direct sales reps:

-Your ideal customer may be prospects who are currently buying something similar and will appreciate the additional features your new product or service provides.

-Your best prospects have a perceived need for what you offer, can afford to buy it and have demonstrated a willingness to do so–probably by purchasing from your competition. Bear in mind, it’s always easier to fill a need than to create one.

Share the benefits and features that your prospective customers will value most.  The bottom line is that working with you and your company should be unique and meet the needs and desires of your best prospects.  Show then how you can make that happen.

How?

Will you market online, via catalog or by archery target? Generally,  a multi-channel marketing tactic will help you achieve the greatest success.

Why?

Customers who can shop when and however they like tend to spend more and shop more often. Suppose your strategy is to market a weight loss product to people who can’t afford gym memberships or high-priced home equipment. You might choose traditional face to face/home party direct marketing plus a website as your primary channels, and then online ads and e-mail solicitations that link to your website.  These are all great ideas, but no one action alone is going to give you the results that you are looking for.  Aim to combined all of them.

When?

For startup entrepreneurs, the need to constantly tinker with the business never ends. “You have always got to be thinking about how you can tweak whatever you have to make it even better.”

If you feel like you have too much going on, stop and just focus on just one at a time. Try spending time on one project per day and see how much you accomplish.

Direct selling is certainly a classic sales method and given the reach of the Internet in the business world, the approach to direct selling has a larger reach than ever before.

TOPIC: The debate is on!!! Coffee shop or online blog? Door to door or email contact list? Typical meeting or online chat? How’s a poor marketer to decide? It used to be that “Face Time” with prospects through all stages of a sales cycle was the only way. It was was tried and true, but with all the gadgets used today, “Shopper” no longer seem to value the antiquated ritual.  It seems that “Face Time” may no longer be necessary at all.

More often than not, sales go through – online without any direct contact at all. Independent Sales reps can now use the Web to conduct product demonstrations, hold multi-person sales trending topics thurspresentations, all kinds of things that help them connect with their audience.

Here’s just an example:
For many top recruiters, email has replaced the phone as a primary method of reaching out to contact new prospective customers for the first time. The traditionalist would say this selling tactic is bad even though it brings down the cost of doing business and takes less time, but sales don’t lie. TODAY’S TOP SELLERS IN EVERY DIRECT SALES COMPANY are the ones with a strong online presence and a long email contact list.

PROBLEM: There is one pit fall that online marketers face -ISOLATION- working in isolation tends to make reps less productive than if they work in groups, even small ones, where they can feed off each others momentum.

SOLUTION: Form a team that can share sales strategies. The best ones are social clubs for entrepreneurs and sales professionals that to help them learn how to get good at sales and to have fun doing it. There should be no sales “gurus” or “experts” in these groups. Let every leader show off and share their smart. Ambitious people will have a lot to share and will help the whole group work hard to reach their goals. Having FUN is what will keep the motivation engine revving.

 POLL:

What do YOU spend more time doing?

FACE TIME OR ONLINE MARKETING

Which gives you the most business growth?

Do NOT mistake Self Help books training’s and seminars for Business Growth

Posted on September 20, 2012. Filed under: How To Grow Your Direct Sales Team, Success n Network Marketing, Tips for your business | Tags: , , , , , , , , , |

Do NOT mistake Self Help books, training’s and seminars for Business Growth.  Many reps are looking for immediate gratification and a sense of accomplishment and will interpret Self Help as something that it is NOT.  Self Help literally means you are helping yourself.  When you attend training’s, conventions, seminars and webinars you are improving YOU and helping YOU grow.

There’s no doubt that this is good for YOU, but YOU Growing is not the same thing as YOU growing your business.

The PROOF:  The proof is in the results.  Results are a measure of how much, many, far, long.  As a noun  Results means, ‘a consequence, effect or outcome of something’.  As a verb it means, ‘to occur or follow as a consequence.  So, as a result of your Personal Growth Training, you will grow as a person.  As a results of business actions you have taken your business will ‘take action’ = Grow!

The Mistake:  If you are measuring your Business success in the number of trainings, seminars, webinars and books you have attended or read your using the wrong equation.  As a result of all your training you may have become a great trainer, but your business may lack the RESULTS you are striving for.  Unfortunately, Self Help while it ‘feels’ good, is not the same thing as taking action.  Taking action often does NOT ‘feel’ good.  Well, not until later anyway.

The Resolution:  YOU Growing is not the same thing as growing your business.  But, YOU helping other Grow will Grow Your Business!  After a good book, a training, a team call, a seminar put in to practice what you have learned.  Do NOT misinterpret this to mean do grow, don’t improve yourself.  Self growth is good, but t grow your business what you learn HAS to be used.  Growing your business is about taking action.  Do not count any potential growth expectations.

The Challenge:

Week 1: Log the time you spend in one week on self help.  Be very honest about this time.  Log anytime you spend reading, on the phone with a mentor, communicating with colleges on calls, at lunch, in person or on fb or where ever and also any time spent at a training or seminar.  Take good notes.  Identify at least 5 things that these training’s have taught you.  Log any financial growth in your business.

Week 2:  Cancel ALL self help, just for one week!  Do not allow yourself to ‘connect’ with mentors.  Do not attend any trainings on or off line.  Actively use at least 5 of the things that learned during week 1 in exactly the same amount of time used during week 1 for training.  Log any financial growth in your business.  Do not count any potential growth expectations.

The Definition: Business Grow can be defined as the process of improving some measure of an enterprise’s success.  This improvement can be achieved by either boosting the top line or revenue with increased sales or income. or by increasing the bottom-line by minimizing costs.

The Training:  Take the Challenge!  We promise both you and your business will grow!

It’s Time to Take Yourself Seriously

Posted on August 20, 2012. Filed under: direct Sales Statistics, Direct Sales Tips, How To Do The Business, How To Grow Your Direct Sales Team, Network Marketing Made Easy, Success n Network Marketing, Tips for your business, Why Direct Sales | Tags: , , , , , , , |

There are very few SUCCESSFUL entrepreneurs in the business world that would say that they ‘started their business totally by accent’.  In direct sales though, it’s a common statement.  Think back to the beginning, maybe you were invited to a home party.  You where a little bit interested in the products or maybe you were just supporting a friend or family member and so you showed up.  You were excited and things just spread like wildfire!  Before you even had time to think about it…  you were in business.  Just like 91 million people worldwide who also started their own Direct Sales businesses.

Business Owner, Entrepreneur, On the Road to Millionaire  ALL these titles become yours when you enter the Direct Sales Industry— it is a vibrant and thriving group of motivated go-getters from every back ground.  The thing that they all have in common:  They have dreams!  They see the future as full of infinite possibilities, a pathway to economic and personal freedom, and ‘way out’ of what ever your in now and yet they don’t really take themselves seriously.  They don’t see Direct Sales as a real opportunity or legitimate job and or stable way to support themselves and their family.  They are unsure about what they can do with what they’ve got.

Unfortunately, most Direct Sales Reps are insecure, uncertain and even shy sometimes about their business.  As a result, we’ve created a perception problem and perception IS EVERYTHING!  Too often our own lack of confidence in ourselves and our lack of belief in the industry causes Direct Sales Reps, like us to be ignored and or ridiculed by big business, big investors and big chunks of the general public.  What we offer is typically overlooked by almost everyone including the unemployed looking work —even though as an industry, in 2011 DIRECT SALES contributed more than $132 billion to the global economy!

The fact is: Direct selling is leading leading thousands of AMERICAN families out of the economic colaps when traditions buisness and employment have been unattainable or limiting.

The fact is: American companies Like Amway, Herbalife and Visalus are ALL expecting INCREASES in Sales Growth greater than 40% for 2012.  Even Avon, which had its share of problems this year, reported a 9.7 increase in 2011!

The fact is:  Direct selling is one of the most generous industries by nature, contributing over $400 million annually to feed malnourished children, provide disaster relief, and support local, national and international organizations and associations.

The fact is:  Almost ALL Direct Sales Companies have an altruistic nature that supports both person health and personal growth.  The company wants to help you succeed, get rich and rise to the top in your field.  There are often no barriers or limits in Direct Sales!

The Fact is:  The industry allows entrepreneurs to successfully duplicate results and easily share their knowledge and wisdom with others who want to share in the opportunities presented.

The Fact is:  In 2011, 11.2% of all Direct Sellers were Full-Time.  They made a Full Time Income and supported there family with their Direct Sales business.

The Fact is:  In 2011, the World Foundation of Direct Selling Associates reported that there were 91,533,825 Active Direct Selling Reps world wide. Wow!

The Fact is:  Just about any product or service can be purchased through direct selling somewhere in the world.  You don’t have to get everything at Walmart.

The Fact is:  It’s Time To Take Yourself and your Direct sales Business Seriously.  You Can be a participant in creating your own reality as an independent business owner. You really do have a REAL opportunity.  So, take advantage of your Direct Selling opportunity…

  1. Do something, call prospects, bang on doors, advertise, promote, talk, talk, talk.  Don’t expect money to flow in on “auto pilot”, don’t expect your upline to build your business, don’t wait for someone else to make your business grow.
  2. Do not have a big EGO.
  3. Do  team up with your upline or downline, even the sidelines.
  4. Do organize or attend meetings, events, calls and/or webinars.
  5. If you attend a meeting, show up dressed up and ready for business.
  6. Do read personal development books.
  7. Do return calls promptly.
  8. Do take time to understand the compensation plan and the products/services you repesent.
  9. Do not jump from opportunity to opportunity.
  10. Do take yourself and your business seriously.

The Business Benefits of Good Attitude and Strong Belief

Posted on March 23, 2012. Filed under: Attitude, Beleif, How To Grow Your Direct Sales Team, Tips for your business | Tags: , , , , , , , , , |

Attitude and belief may be the biggest obstacles in your business.

There are many different ways of describing the phenomenon. You can call it The SECRET, the Law of Attraction, blind faith, ignorance on fire or Simple Luck, but the fact remands that nearly ALL of us has experienced the benefits of this kind of wishful thinking.

So, what’s your story? How has your attitude and or beliefs helped you in your business?

Heather Nickless I try to keep a ‘can do’ attitude. I try to keep all negativity out of my thinking. I work better towards my goals when I believe I can do it so I try to always believe I can. It has definitely helped make my business sucessful including having people with the ‘can do’ attitude on my team.

Natalie Karen Boecker Who said, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.” ?? So, why not think you can? I believe in always focusing on the positive, in all areas of my life. It sure brings better results, and keeps everyone happier!

Thanks Heather and Natalie! The common theme in both of your Success Stories is the idea that “you can do it”.  Believing in yourself, being able to see your success will bring you closer to ALL your goals than any training or seminar.

It’s amazing how every successful person can tell you a story of how they came from nothing and just knew in their heart they would make it.  That strong belief and positive attitude can ride any storm in your business.  It can keep you focused, help you get past distractions and through downfalls.

Normally, I follow the rule about not mixing business and with poltics and or religion, but I willing to risk it to share this story:

Last Sunday we were sitting at church. There was a visiting preacher.  In the bulletin, I could see that his sermon was  titled, “Finders Celebrate, Losers Complain”.  Of coarse when I saw the word “Finders”, being FindSalesRep.com I clued in, sat up straight and paid close attention.  There where many stories about great people who went out to ‘find’ the meek, the broken, the worthy, the deserving, those that maybe didn’t ‘have it all together’ but had a good attitude and were willing to try to believe.

Then there were stories about people that pretended they ‘had it all’, that ‘talked the talk’, while condemning others and complaining.  The preacher warned to watch out for Losers.  That they would bring you down, hurt your business and your relationships.  He told us that we could recognize them by all their complaining. lol

The preacher told us to look for the the celebrators!    “Get them in your life and in your business!”  Funny, how that message echoed in my Business life, I thought.  My husband and I have had great success in Direct Sales.  We are successful not only because we know how to generate leads but because we always look for CELEBRATORS!  We bring them in to our lives and in to our business.  Having Celebrators around is Good For You and GOOD FOR BUSINESS!  There’s NO Complaining and Anything is Possible!

So my advice:  Look for the Celebrators!  Look for the ones who always have a new idea, a compliment and an encouraging message!

If you have some advice, we would love to hear your story!  Please leave your tips in the comments:
